When you use an AI fantasy video feature, you may enter text prompts and instructions, select photos, videos, or other supported media, and choose styles, effects, settings, or other creative options. We process the items you submit or select to perform the action you request.

Outputs

We process generated videos, images, previews, variations, and related outputs so that the requested feature can operate and the result can be presented to you.

Communications

If you contact us, we may receive your email address, message, attachments you choose to provide, and other information needed to understand and respond to your request.

2. Technical and Usage Information

We may collect limited technical and usage information, such as device and operating-system type, app version, language and general settings, feature interactions, network and performance information, crash reports, diagnostics, and security-related events. We may use this information to operate, troubleshoot, protect, and improve Daydream.

If paid features, purchases, or subscriptions are offered through Google Play, we may receive information such as purchase status, product or subscription details, and transaction identifiers. Payment processing is handled by Google Play, and we do not receive complete payment-card details from Google Play.

3. Device Permissions

Depending on the feature you choose and your device, Daydream may request permission to access photos, videos, a camera, storage, or notifications. These permissions may be used to let you select or capture media, save an output, or receive relevant notifications.

You can deny or withdraw permissions through device settings. A feature may not work if a permission necessary for that feature is unavailable. You should select only media you want processed for your requested creation.

4. How We Use Information

We may use the information described in this Policy to:

• process prompts, selected media, styles, instructions, and settings and return outputs;
• maintain app functionality, reliability, and security;

5. AI Processing

Providing AI generation features requires automated processing of the prompts, selected media, style choices, instructions, settings, and other inputs you submit. Depending on the feature, this information and related outputs may be transmitted to and processed on systems used to provide the requested service.

AI-generated results can be inaccurate, unexpected, inappropriate, or unsuitable for a particular use. Review every output before saving, relying on, publishing, or sharing it.

We may share information as reasonably necessary with service providers that support functions such as AI processing, hosting, storage, content delivery, analytics, diagnostics, customer support, and security. Such providers process information in connection with services they perform for us and subject to applicable obligations.

When Google Play features are used, purchase-related information may be processed by Google Play under its own terms and privacy practices. We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or lawful requests, protect users or the public, investigate misuse, enforce our terms, or protect rights, property, and security.

If the app lets you export or share an output, the information is shared with the destination and people you choose. Their use of that content is outside our control.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing requested features, maintaining reliability and security, responding to support, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. Retention may vary based on the information, feature, user choices, operational needs, and applicable law.

Copies may remain where reasonably necessary in backups or records used for security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

You can choose which prompts and supported media to submit, manage applicable device permissions, decide whether to export or share an output, and stop using the app. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or portability for certain personal information.
